I am glad you told me! It is nothing to be embarrassed about, so many women deal with some level of ppd, those damn hormones. :-) Just keep moving forward, sister. Months ago I had a friend that was also having a difficult time with ppd, and she said the best thing she did to get through it was to plan one goal to achieve and one activity to do every day, for example, her goal would be to get up and take a shower and her activity would be going to the library. Simple little things that she could build her day around. She spent months working on just doing those two things each day and once she felt like she could conquer a goal and an activity, she went up to two goals and two activities, she continued like that until she made it out of the woods.
Seriously, if you are sad, think to yourself, "self, today I will not be sad, today I will be awesome" and no matter how much you feel like crap, just keeping telling yourself that you will be awesome.
Being a mom & a wife is tough stuff, and no one expects you to be perfect, all we can do is try, sometimes we will fall short, but that's life, you got to keep on moving.
